Founded by the globally renowned celebrity Deepika Padukone, 82°E is a holistic self-care lifestyle brand. Beginning its journey with skincare, the brand slowly hopes to branch out in all aspects of lifestyle.

Combining time-tested holistic practices with the latest innovation, the brand has created its own unique product formula. 82°E aims to help people consciously commit to nourishing their mind, body and spirit with self-care rituals that work.

The Challenge

Initially, 82°E reached out to us for a website audit and design feedback.

They were set to launch their products soon, and wanted a high-converting ecommerce website that focuses on user experience.

The Goal

Our goal with the new website was to:

  • Build a global e-commerce website with an improved design.
  • Add enhanced functionality to improve Average Order Value (AOV).
  • Improve user experience to help the website generate more leads.

The Solution

Development

We analysed the design requirements their team had shared and nudged 82°E to invest in developing a Shopify e-commerce store.

They wanted the website brand experience to communicate the same Indian ethos and global outlook that their products do.

We stuck to the brand guidelines to maintain consistency and influence the overall user experience. We wanted to establish trust and build an emotional connection, so customers would actively want to engage with the brand in the future.

Launch
  • We began the process with a comprehensive design audit: user-testing, benchmarking, and implementing recommendations to improve user experience and conversions.
  • We first created a ‘Coming Soon’ page to prepare for pre-launch.
  • A global celebrity was associated with the brand, so we prepared for high volumes of traffic during the launch by conducting stress tests on the design with expert-approved methods.
Growth / Improvement
  • To create a seamless brand experience, we integrated advanced apps and solutions based on consumer insights, our research, and business requirements.
  • We used marketing automations such as integrations, email and SMS flows to enable retention marketing flows and retarget first-time customers.
  • We added custom enhancements such as product customizations (Build Your Own Routine), and intuitive shopping cart optimizations (For example: “Add one more item to get 20% OFF”) to increase the Average Order Value.
Analytics
  • We set up analytics to help the team easily track visitor behavior, gain a deeper understanding of customer journeys, and continuously make improvements based on growth-driven insights.
